The film A Beautiful Mind is a story that describes the life of a genius affected by the curse of mental illness. While most people diagnosed with schizophrenia rarely overcome the disease, John Nash, the hero of this film, ultimately is able to attain the level of mental reasoning that he previously enjoyed.

The touching part of this film, however, is not merely Nash's recovery, but rather the path that finally enabled him to recover. Through the strength of her love, Nash's wife Alicia was able to help him battle the ravaging mental illness.
